Red Mtn/Tri-Cities Hotels

This romatic 7-room B&B sits on a 400-acre orchard/vineyard, about halfway between the Tri-Cities and Walla Walla, along the Walla Walla River. Walla Walla's wineries are about a half-hour to the west, while Red Mountain is less than an hour northeast. However, when you consider all the onsite amenities, which include a waterfall pool, hot tub, theater room, walking paths and onsite dining, you might not ever want to leave.

The dependable Marriott property at Columbia Point is set along the water and a 23-mile walking path. It's also right next to four bustling restaurants, including Anthony's at Columbia Point, is close to Columbia Point Golf Club, and it provides easy access to a number of other places you'll want to go.

The conveniences at this all-suites hotel include complimentary hot breakfasts and in-room kitchens. It's also one of the closest hotels to Red Mountain, and it's only about a mile away from Tulip Lane's Bernard Griffin, J. Bookwalter and Tagaris wineries.

It's the Red Lion. A dependable choice, and its Bin 20 Wine Bar & Restaurant offers a decent selection of Washington wines. The hotel entices with hunting, fishing and golf packages, and it's also super-close to Three Rivers Convention Center.

The 82-room boutique hotel at Columbia Point Marina places a premium on comfort, with an onsite spa, covered pool and Jacuzzi, wine bar and on-site restaurant (pictured above). Guests are treated to complimentary wine tastings in the lobby, Thurs.–Sun. evenings, and offered a complimentary glass of wine or beer in the on-site wine bar on other evenings. The hotel's marina location, next to restaurants and a golf course, and its amenities lend to a resort-style feel.

The second Marriott-branded property at Columbia Point offers studios and suites designed for extended stays, with fully equipped kitchens and in-unit work spaces. But short-term visitors are welcome, and it's tough to beat the location, steps away from the marina and its restaurants, and just a few hundred yards away from Columbia Point Golf Course.
